iProgrammer Solutions Private Limited is hiring for Manual Testing Engineer
Candidate should have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 3 to 5 years of experience in Android/ iOS Mobile Application Testing, including knowledge of mobile device configurations, app store guidelines, and mobile-specific bugs. Basic understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and processes (Agile methodologies). Familiarity with manual testing techniques, including test case design and execution. Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Proficiency in using bug tracking and test management tools like JIRA or Bugzilla. Knowledge of programming languages and scripting is a plus. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under tight deadlines. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively across teams. ISTQB certification or any relevant software testing certifications are a plus.
Job Responsibilities:
Execute manual test cases and identify defects, ensuring the software meets specified requirements and quality standards. Collaborate with the development team, QA teams, project managers, and clients to understand project requirements and create comprehensive test plans. Conduct functional, integration, regression, and usability testing to validate software functionality and user experience. Document test results using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar bug tracking software, track defects, and provide detailed reports to the development team. Participate in test case reviews, identifying areas for improvement and suggesting test automation opportunities. Assist in the development and maintenance of test data and test environments. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing methodologies and tools.
