Mastercard Inc. | An American Multinational is hiring for QA/ Software Testing Engineer II
We are looking for a QA Tester to join the Data Engineer team. This is a pivotal role, responsible for QA, Loading Testing and Automation of various data-driven pipelines. The position involves Functional testing and Automation. The ideal candidate will have experience working with large-scale data and automation testing of ETL processes. Do manual testing by identifying high-ROI test cases. You will be monitoring each phase of the development process, ensuring design and quality standards. Be an integrated part of an Agile engineering team, working interactively with software engineer leads, architects, testing engineers, and product managers from the beginning of the development cycle.
All About You:
Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience with hands on technical and quality engineering skills Overall 3-5 years of career experience into Manual and Automation Testing Expertise in testing methods, standards, and conventions including automation and test case creation Excellent technical acumen, strong organizational and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail, critical thinking, solid communication, and proven leadership skills Experience in testing ETL processes Knowledge of Python, Hadoop, Spark, SQLs, APIs (REST/ SOAP) Experience with application monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk Experience with Performance Testing
Experience with DevOps practices (continuous integration and delivery, and tools such as Jenkins) Nice to have knowledge or prior experience with any of the following Apache Kafka, Apache Spark with Scala Orchestration with Apache Nifi, Apache Airflow Microservices architecture Build tools like Jenkins Databricks, AWS Working with large data sets with terabytes of data
