VerveNest Technologies are seeking Senior Java Developer
Candidate should have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience) with extensive experience in Java application development, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles. Migration from Java 6 or 7 to java 11 experience and backend development experience.
Proficiency in Java programming language and related technologies, such as J2EE, Spring Framework, Hibernate, and Servlets.
Experience with web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular frameworks like Angular or React.
Strong knowledge of database concepts and experience working with relational databases like Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with software development methodologies and Agile/Scrum practices.
Demonstrated experience in designing and developing scalable, high-performance Java applications.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools (e.g., Maven or Gradle)
Roles & Responsibilities:
Designing, coding, testing, and debugging Java applications, including web applications, client-server systems, and enterprise software solutions.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and UI/UX designers, to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Leading and mentoring junior developers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and best practices.
Identifying and resolving technical issues, bottlenecks, and performance problems in Java applications.
Developing and maintaining system documentation, including design documents, technical specifications, and user guides.
Keeping up to date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in Java development, and applying them to enhance the development process.
Participating in code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards and software development best practices.
Collaborating with quality assurance teams to conduct comprehensive testing and ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable software.
