We are looking for a QA Engineer with strong experience in both Automation and Manual Testing to ensure high-quality software delivery. The candidate will be responsible for test planning, scripting, execution, defect tracking, and working closely with development and product teams.
Candidate should have a Bachelor`s or Master`s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field with 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with strong knowledge in both manual and automated testing. A strong foundation in Java, OOP principles, Selenium, BDD frameworks, and SQL for database validations is required. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and e-commerce or retail domain knowledge is highly preferred.
Primary Skills-
Experience in Selenium WebDriver using TestNG and BDD frameworks (like Cucumber)
Proficiency in Java or any other Object-Oriented Programming language
Ability to write complex SQL queries for backend validation (Postgres, Cassandra, MySQL)
Experience in testing web-based e-commerce or retail applications
Technology Skills-
Automation Tools: Selenium, TestNG, BDD (Cucumber or similar)
Languages: Java (must), SQL
Databases: Postgres, Cassandra, MySQL
Tools: JIRA, Confluence
Methodologies: Agile, Scrum

Responsibilities & Duties-
Analyze business and technical requirements
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
Execute test cases manually and automate regression test suites
Perform backend validations using SQL queries
Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs
Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to ensure timely delivery
Participate in Agile ceremonies(stand-ups, planning, retrospectives)
Maintain test documentation and contribute to QA process improvement initiatives
