We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Test Engineer with a strong background in manual testing, functional testing, and exposure to automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of experience in software testing, with a proven track record in the banking domain and hands-on experience with the Robot Framework.
Duties & Responsibilities-
• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Identify, document, and track defects using standard defect tracking tools.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of automation scripts using the Robot Framework.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and status reporting activities.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications-
• Minimum 6 years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on manual and functional testing.
• Proficiency in test case design, execution, and defect management.
• Hands-on experience with Robot Framework for automation testing.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience in the banking or financial services domain is highly preferred.
Good to Have:
• Experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or HP ALM.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
