Advantal Technologies is looking for QA Test Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Software Test Engineer (3–5 years experience) to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automation testing across web and mobile platforms, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality software solutions. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to drive testing strategies and maintain quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and execute automated test cases for applications.
  • Identify and prioritize test scenarios for automation.
  • Develop test plans and get them reviewed and approved.
  • Use tools like QTP, Selenium, and Appium for test automation.
  • Collaborate with developers and QA teams to resolve issues.
  • Conduct performance, load, stress, regression, and security testing.
  • Document and track defects using tools like Jira.
  • Provide detailed defect reports and test summaries.
  • Interact with clients to address and resolve quality issues.
  • Stay current with testing tools, techniques, and trends.
  • Contribute to the creation of test strategies, plans, and documentation.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in QA and automation testing.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in manual testing.
  • Proficient in tools such as Selenium, Appium, and Postman.
  • Strong knowledge of Java, SQL, Python, HTML/CSS/XML.
  • Experience in DB Testing, Agile/DevOps methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of load, stress, and performance testing.
  • Ability to create and maintain detailed test documentation.
  • Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in web and mobile application testing is a must.
  • Knowledge of test management tools and bug tracking systems.
