BMW Techworks is looking for Manual Testing Engineer

Candidate should have 5 to 10 years of experience in manual testing of web, desktop, or mobile applications.
Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and documentation skills.
Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within Agile or Waterfall environments.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Must have technical skills-

Proficiency in writing test scenarios, test cases, and test data preparation.
Experience using test management tools like JIRA, Zephyr, TestLink, or HP ALM.
Basic knowledge of SQL to validate backend data.
Familiarity with bug tracking tools and clear defect reporting practices.
Very good knowledge on Database.
Ability to perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory testing.
Knowledge on Sales Journey, Banking/ SF.

Good to have skills-

ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent.
Exposure to API testing using Postman or Swagger.
Basic understanding of automation tools like Selenium (for growth into hybrid roles).
Experience working in BFSI, healthcare, e-commerce, or telecom domains.
Knowledge of accessibility and usability testing principles.

Job Responsibilities-

As a Manual Tester, you will be responsible for verifying software functionality, usability, and performance through detailed test planning and execution.
Work closely with business analysts, developers, and QA leads to understand requirements and translate them into detailed test cases.
Execute test cases manually, identify bugs, and ensure that issues are logged, tracked, and closed within defined timelines.
Participate in test planning, test data setup, reviews, and defect triaging meetings.
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure software meets business expectations before release.
