Candidate should have a Bachelor`s/ Master`s degree in Computer Science, Business or Engineering or equivalent with 5 to 8 years of IT and business domain experience in planning and testing across multiple web browsers and software platforms.
Expertise into Functional Testing – Types of testing, SDLC, STLC, Defect Life cycle.
Experience of Non-Functional Testing – Basic NFR knowledge.
Ability to define Quality process.
Ability to audit the quality process.
Ability to ensure that tasks within areas of responsibility are completed in a timely manner.
Challenging current thinking by implementing new ways of working.
Ability to practice attentive and active listening skills.
Ability to identify pro-actively ways to contribute to company s goals & mission.
Job Responsibilities-
Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual) independently as well as at team level.
Have strong technical skills both functional and non-functional, manual testing, ideally in a continuous delivery environment (Agile/ Scrum).
Good knowledge of Automation tools such as Selenium and Protractor and integration with CI/ CD pipeline using Jenkins/ Azure DevOps.
Have exposure to QA services delivery for web-based products and projects.
Ensuring all development tasks meet quality criteria through test planning, test execution, quality assurance and issue tracking.
Follow processes for test plan reviews and ensure that that test plans get reviewed by all stakeholders.
Review test strategies and see that all the various kinds of testing like unit, functional, performance, stress, acceptance etc. are getting covered.
Creating strategies to mitigate risks and take necessary measures to control the risks.
Maintaining cordial relationships with development team and business/ product owners.
Develop Test cases for tasks shortlisted in Agile/ Scrum based development.
Evaluate dependencies, limitations, risks and obtain support from all stakeholders.
Assign task to self and ensure to have sufficient work in the project.
