We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Selenium, Katalon Studio (Core Java) or Playwright (C#), and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for both web and mobile applications.
Candidate should have BE/ B.Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science/ IT with 2 to 4 years of experience in manual and automation testing
Proficient in manual testing techniques including functional, regression, and integration testing
Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, Katalon Studio, or Playwright
Knowledge of test automation frameworks and CI/ CD tools
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
Strong experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla)
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team
Preferred Skills-
Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or Rest Assured
Experience with performance testing (e.g., JMeter)
Knowledge of Agile/ Scrum methodologies.
Key Responsibilities-
Design, develop, and execute manual test cases based on project requirements.
Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Katalon Studio, or Playwright.
Collaborate with developers and other team members to understand project requirements and ensure effective test coverage.
Perform regression testing, functional testing, and integration testing on web and mobile applications.
Identify, report, and track defects, ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner.
Contribute to the automation framework development and support continuous improvement of automation processes.
Participate in test planning, reviews, and sprint meetings within an Agile team.
Ensure the quality and stability of software products through effective testing strategies.
