We are looking for an Automation Test Engineer with expertise in Katalon Studio (Core Java) or Playwright (C#) to join our growing team. Candidate should have 3+ years of professional experience in software testing, including both manual and automation testing. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for web and mobile applications. Required Technical Skills:
Proficiency in writing test cases and designing test strategies
Hands-on experience in automation testing using Katalon Studio with Core Java
Proficiency in Playwright automation framework with C#
Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
Familiarity with defect tracking and project management tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps
Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
Understanding of CI/ CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results
Knowledge of Agile methodologies
Exposure to API testing tools like Postman
ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze requirements and design comprehensive test plans and test cases
Define test strategies for both manual and automated testing
Perform functional, usability, regression, and exploratory testing
Document and report defects, working with developers to resolve issues
Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Katalon Studio (Core Java) and Playwright (C#)
Execute automated test scripts for web and mobile applications to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability
Set up and maintain test environments.
Collaborate with DevOps to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions
Good knowledge of tools like JMeter or LoadRunner to test application performance under different conditions
Good knowledge tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps for defect tracking and progress reporting
Suggest improvements in development and testing processes
Stay updated with the latest testing tools, techniques, and industry trends
Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and resolve issues promptly
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
