Phoenix Contact is looking for QA (Testing Engineer)

Candidate should have a Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of experience in software testing and automation. Proficiency in Selenium with Python or Test Complete with JavaScript. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.

Should have experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)
Familiarity with CI/ CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Skills-

Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured)
Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter)
ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus.

Job Responsibilities-

Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium (Python) or TestComplete (JavaScript)
Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Proficiency in reporting and tracking software defects using tools such as Polarion, JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar
Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks.
Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a QA perspective.
Document test cases, test plans, and test results.
Ensure compliance with QA standards and best practices.
Continuously improve testing processes and tools.
