We are looking for a highly driven and detail-oriented QA Engineer with an outcome-focused mindset. The ideal candidate will take ownership of quality across multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery without compromising on standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing
  • Work across multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring consistent quality standards
  • Perform manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications
  • Create, maintain, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts
  • Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps
  • Collaborate with developers to explain issues clearly and resolve bugs constructively
  • Ensure all deliverables meet quality benchmarks and deadlines
  • Be proactive in identifying risks/issues and communicate them in advance
  • Support critical releases when required, including beyond standard working hours
  • Execute performance and security sanity checks
  • Validate AI/ML workflows and data-processing pipelines where applicable
  • Continuously improve QA processes and contribute to strengthening the QA function

Preferred candidate profile

  • We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with 2 – 3 years of experience to test web applications built using the MERN stack, AI/ML solutions, and data analytics platforms.
  • A candidate should have hands-on experience in automation testing using tools like Selenium, Playwright (preferred), or Cypress for testing modern web applications.
  • Should be comfortable performing API testing using tools like Postman and validating request/response structures, tokens, and error handling scenarios.
  • Candidate should be comfortable using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor or similar AI coding assistants for writing and maintaining test cases, automation scripts, and documentation.
  • A candidate should be able to write reusable automation scripts and maintain regression test suites for continuous delivery environments.
  • Must have experience validating backend data using databases like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL, and verifying API responses against stored data.
  • Should have working knowledge of Git workflows and exposure to CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins for running automated test cases.
  • Experience testing, staging, and production deployments in Docker or cloud-based environments like AWS will be considered an advantage.
  • Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter, k6, or Lighthouse is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Candidates with experience testing AI/ML workflows, analytics dashboards, recommendation systems, or LLM-based features will be preferred.
  • Should be capable of preparing structured test cases, bug reports, and release validation reports independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be comfortable working in Agile sprint environments and coordinating closely with developers, project managers, and product teams.
  • Strong debugging skills, attention to detail, and ownership of product quality during release cycles are expected.
  • Experience using AI tools for writing automation scripts, API test cases, and test documentation will be considered a strong advantage.
  • The candidate should have contributed to at least one automation framework or automation pipeline in previous projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Good-to-Have Skills (Preferred)

  • Automation tools: Cypress / Playwright
  • API testing: Postman / Rest Assured
  • Basic performance testing (JMeter, etc.)
  • Experience working in Agile/ Scrum environments
  • CI/CD pipeline understanding
