Siemens is looking for Manual Software Test Specialist (Domain Tester)

Candidate should have 3 to 5 years of total experience in Software Development, manual testing and Test Automation. Design and Execution of Test Cases. Knowledge of Industrial Automation and EV charger Domain would be preferable. Exposure to Testing Methodologies and awareness of the Test Execution Process would be good to have.

Knowledge of implementing various testing methodologies, test automation tools.
Script Languages – Python, Java script.
Exposure of Software development lifecycle and defect management life cycle.
Exposure of Requirement Engineering; Requirement and test coverage.
Involves interacting with electronic devices.
Experience of using virtual machines (VMware, Hyper-V or Oracle virtual box)
Knowledge of Server Operating System.
Knowledge of web servers, Rest API, OPC/UA, Client/Server Architecture, Distributed Architecture.
Know-how to network vulnerability detection and security testing.

Role & Responsibility

Planning & Design Test: Create detailed test plans, test strategies, and test scenarios tailored to domain‑specific business processes.
Develop comprehensive test cases (functional, integration, regression, and end‑to‑end) aligned with domain logic.
Prepare and maintain test data based on business rules, domain models, and edge cases.
Complete manual test cases, validate functional behavior, and ensure compliance with domain requirements.
Perform smoke, functional, integration, regression, exploratory, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Validate data mapping, domain rules, calculations, and workflow processing across modules.
Defect Tracking & Quality Assurance: Identify, log, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and domain‑specific context.
Collaborate with developers to ensure issues are understood and fixed accurately.
