We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer (Manual & Automation Testing) to join our dynamic team at Mumbai/ Bangalore.
Essential Qualifications
Candidate should have Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
4-5 years of hands-on experience in manual testing, specifically testing web-based applications.
2+ years of experience in automation testing using Selenium or other Java-based automation tools (e.g., TestNG, JUnit).
Solid understanding of testing methodologies, including regression, functional, integration, and system testing.
Basic knowledge of SQL for querying databases and validating back-end data.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes and solutions for issues.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey test progress, issues, and risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Desirable Qualifications
Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
Exposure to continuous integration/ continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Familiarity with JIRA or other bug tracking and project management tools.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases based on software requirements.
Conduct thorough manual testing of web and mobile applications to identify defects and ensure functionality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product features and provide feedback on quality improvements.
Perform regression testing, usability testing, and acceptance testing.
Document and track defects using [insert defect tracking tool], communicate findings, and recommend actions to the development team.
Participate in Agile/ Scrum ceremonies, contributing to the continuous improvement of the testing process.
Create and maintain detailed documentation of test procedures and test cases.
Assist in maintaining test environments and preparing test data.
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and manage release cycles.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in software testing and quality assurance.
Working Hours: 1:00 PM IST to 10:00 PM IST
Location: Bangalore (Preferred)/ Goregaon(W), Mumbai
