We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer with hands-on experience in testing Web and Mobile applications. The ideal candidate will ensure product quality through meticulous test planning, execution, defect tracking, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Understand project requirements, user stories, and business use cases to create test scenarios.
Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test data for Web and Mobile applications.
Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, and cross-browser / cross-device testing.
Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like JIRA / Bugzilla / Trello / Asana.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to resolve issues and ensure timely releases.
Validate bug fixes and perform re-testing & regression testing.
Ensure applications meet UI/UX guidelines, responsiveness, and compatibility.
Support in preparing test reports, test summary documents, and quality metrics.
Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).

Required Skills & Qualifications

1.5 to 3 years of proven experience in Manual Testing for Web and Mobile applications.
Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), Defect Life Cycle, and SDLC.
Experience in writing clear test cases, test plans, and checklists.
Good knowledge of different testing types: functional, regression, smoke, sanity, compatibility, usability, exploratory testing.
Familiarity with Agile methodology and working in sprint-based development environments.
Experience with issue/bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
Knowledge of basic SQL queries for database validation.
Good understanding of mobile OS (Android/iOS) testing concepts.
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving mindset.
Good communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have (Optional)

Exposure to API testing tools (Postman, Swagger).
Basic knowledge of Automation testing tools (Selenium, Appium) for future career growth.
Familiarity with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket)
