Wolters Kluwer requires Lead Architects to have a technical depth of a single technical domain such as network, security, compute (Public/ Private), automation and storage, to have the technical breadth across the other technical towers to define its own towers position within the overall system architecture.
Our Lead Architects are required to be Subject Matter Experts within their field of Information Technology, can translate highly technical and complex subjects to business and senior stakeholders, whilst engaging, steering, and guiding the aligned engineers in delivering their architecture definitions.
Educational Qualification-
Preferred: Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field
Preferred Domain Expertise Certificates depending on role:, Azure Certified Architect, AWS Certified Architect, etc
Preferred knowledge of DevSecops (Terraform or Ansible or Azure DevOps)
Required Experience/ Skills-
More than 10 years IT Experience
More than 5 years experience within an Architecture Role
At least 2 years leadership experience
Recent experience within Architecture, Design and implementation of complex, highly available and highly scalable solutions
More than 5 years experience with defining, building and maintaining a specific Domain of Architecture, e.g. Network, Public Cloud, Private Cloud, Storage, Automation etc
More than 3 years experience working with Cloud Computing
A working experience of Information Security and the control points needed within a specific domain s architecture.
A working experience in an enterprise wide Architectural governance, architecture decisions, exceptions, standards etc
Developing complex business cases.
Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications-
AWS Certified Solution Architect
Azure Certified Solution Architecture
Additional Skills Required-
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Project management skills: financial/ budget management, scheduling and resource management
Ability to work onsite hybrid model in one of our WK offices.
Preferred experience-
Experience as a Lead Solution Architect in enterprise wide DevSecOps Cloud environment.
Experience with J2C (Journey to Cloud) moving applications from data center to Cloud.
