We are looking for a QA Engineer with strong experience in Manual and Functional Testing, along with working knowledge of Python or Java, to ensure the quality of web and API-based applications. The role involves validating business requirements, identifying defects, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality releases.
Required Skills
3+ years of experience in Manual and Functional Testing
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Defect Life Cycle
Hands-on experience in Web and API functional testing
Working knowledge of Python or Java
Experience in writing functional test cases and test plans
Basic knowledge of SQL/ database testing
Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, Postman
Strong analytical and communication skills
Preferred Skills
Exposure to automation frameworks (Selenium, PyTest, TestNG)
Experience working in Agile/ Scrum environments
Awareness of CI/ CD pipelines
Domain experience in BFSI/ Telecom/ SaaS
Key Responsibilities
Perform Manual and Functional Testing of web and API applications
Validate business requirements through end-to-end functional test scenarios
Design, review, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test data
Perform Smoke, Sanity, Regression, and UAT testing
Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect tracking tools
Execute SQL queries for backend data validation
Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand functionality and verify fixes
Prepare and maintain test documentation and release sign-off reports
Use Python or Java for basic scripting, test utilities, or automation support.
