Candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Web Systems, or related field or equivalent with 6+ years of hands-on experience as a QA Engineer or similar role. Strong knowledge of software testing best practices, methodologies (white/ black box, integration), and QA processes (system, acceptance, regression testing). Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or similar technologies, with experience developing automated tests using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, or PyTest
- Experience testing APIs and working with XML, XSD, JSON, REST, and SOAP
- Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, and tools such as JIRA, GitHub, and Jenkins
- Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including familiarity with cloud-native services (e.g., EKS, ECR)
- Experience testing modern applications, including AI/LLM-based features, and using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Copilot) to accelerate test development
- Experience testing security scenarios and collaborating with Security teams on automated scans (e.g., container scans, TPS scans)
- Strong ability to design test scenarios and create detailed, repeatable test cases while managing multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute QA efforts to validate products against defined requirements
- Work effectively within Agile development environments
- Design, build, and maintain automated tests for web and API-based applications
- Analyze requirements, specifications, and technical documentation to provide timely, actionable feedback
- Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing
- Identify, document, and track defects, and support debugging and resolution
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage
- Contribute to improving QA processes, tools, and automation practices
- Track and report on QA metrics to support quality and release readiness
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance testing practices.
