As a Quality Engineer focusing on manual testing, a typical day involves thoroughly executing tests to verify that solutions meet the defined requirements and user expectations. This role includes designing detailed test cases, carefully identifying and documenting any discrepancies or defects, and working closely with various delivery teams. The objective is to ensure that each release is dependable and ready for end users, maintaining high standards of quality throughout the development lifecycle. Collaboration and attention to detail are key aspects of daily activities, contributing to the overall success of the project.
Role & Responsibilities
Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
Responsible for team decisions.
Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
Lead efforts to improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall quality.
Mentor junior team members to support their growth and development within the testing domain.
Technical Skills
Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Functional Test Planning.
Good To Have Skills: Experience with TOSCA Testsuite, SAP Commerce Cloud, EPiServer.
Strong ability to design comprehensive test cases based on user stories and requirements.
Skilled in defect identification, documentation, and tracking to facilitate effective resolution.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and quality delivery.
Familiarity with manual testing best practices and quality assurance principles.
Additional Information
The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Functional Test Planning.
This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
A 15 years full time education is required.
