We are seeking a Manual Tester with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on development experience and recent hands-on testing experience. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in test case development, defect management, Agile testing, API testing, Linux/ Unix batch processing, file validation, relational databases, and SQL. Experience with Integrated Eligibility projects is preferred.
Required Skills
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on development experience with recent hands-on testing experience.
- Proficiency in writing test cases based on User Stories (US) and Epics.
- Expertise with defect management tools including ALM.
- Experience with testing levels including Sprint and Regression testing in Agile environments.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex systems using User Story and Epic documentation.
- Experience delivering live Sprint demos.
- Experience with API testing using REST and SOAP.
- Experience using JIRA or JIRA plugins for defect tracking.
- Experience running batch jobs in Linux/Unix environments using PuTTY.
- Hands-on experience mocking inbound files based on Storyboards.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases such as Oracle or similar.
- Strong understanding of database principles and ability to write SQL beyond basic data access.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and professional skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with clients and teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a self-driven, detail-oriented approach.
Preferred Skills
- Functional experience working on Integrated Eligibility projects.
- Knowledge of SDLC processes.
- Automation experience developing scripts using existing or new frameworks.
