We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer (Senior .NET Developer) to join our Applications Development & Intelligence Automation -CAT IT Division. The preference for this role is to be based out of Bangalore PSN Office, KA-India
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using .NET technologies
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and product teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Contribute to application design and integration across systems
- Develop APIs, services, and user interfaces for scalable applications
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure quality and performance
- Work with cross-functional teams to build and enhance solutions
- Support system performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization
- Contribute to reusable components, common frameworks, and development standards
- Participate in Agile development processes (Scrum) including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives
Assist in modernizing legacy applications and supporting migration efforts
Required Skills & Experience
- 6–10 years of hands-on experience in enterprise application development
- Strong experience with .NET technologies (.NET Core, ASP.NET, MVC, C#)
- Experience working with REST APIs and web services (SOAP/REST)
- Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (Angular 8+, Razor or React is a plus)
- Experience with databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL)
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles
- Experience working in Agile (Scrum) environments
- Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
- Basic understanding of CI/ CD pipelines
- Exposure to Azure cloud services is a plus
- Experience with SSRS/ RDLC reporting is a plus
- Knowledge of multi-tier application architecture
- This position requires candidate to work a 5-day -a -week schedule in the office.
