Candidate should have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in manual testing. Must have good understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
Strong knowledge of test case creation, execution, and defect lifecycle.
Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)
Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience testing across multiple browsers and mobile devices is a plus.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman.
Exposure to Agile/ Scrum methodologies.
Basic understanding of databases and SQL
Key Responsibilities-
Review and analyze business and technical requirements to identify test conditions
Develop, review, and execute detailed Test Plans, Test Scenarios, and Test Cases
Perform various types of testing including Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, and System Testing
Conduct API Testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger.
Execute Web Application Testing for UI, usability, and cross-browser compatibility validation.
Perform Mobile Application Testing across Android and iOS platforms.
Identify , log, and track software defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps).
Participate actively in Test Planning, Test Estimation, and Test Review meetings.
Work collaboratively with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure issues are clearly communicated and resolved.
Maintain traceability between test cases and requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Document and communicate testing progress, defect metrics, and test summary reports to stakeholders.
