We are looking for a detail oriented and passionate QA Manual Test Engineer with strong experience in mobile application testing for Android and iOS platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands on expertise in manual testing, defect management, test planning, and exposure to mobile automation tools. The candidate should be comfortable working in an Agile environment and capable of ensuring high quality mobile application releases.
Key Responsibilities
- Candidate should have strong expertise in manual testing, defect management, test planning, and exposure to mobile automation tools.
- He /She should perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and end-to-end testing for mobile applications.
- Validate mobile applications on Android and iOS devices across different OS versions and screen sizes.
- Design, review, and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios based on business requirements.
- Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools.
- Participate in requirement analysis and provide QA inputs during grooming and sprint planning sessions.
- Conduct API testing using tools like Postman
- Experience with test management tools such as Jira, Spiral Test
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Manual Testing for Mobile Applications.
- Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle.
- Hands on experience in testing Android and iOS applications.
- Experience in API Testing using Postman.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Experience with defect and test management tools such as Jira and Spira Test.
- Exposure to mobile automation tools will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualification
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Prior experience in mobile application domain preferred.
