We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical IT Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to join our Finpros team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our software applications and systems by executing manual and automated tests, identifying bugs, and collaborating with developers and stakeholders to ensure product excellence.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience with bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA will be considered as advantage).
Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and scripting languages is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
Perform various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Identify, document, and track software defects using issue-tracking tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
Collaborate with developers, scrum manager and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and technical specifications.
Validate fixes and perform re-testing to ensure issues are properly resolved.
Participate in daily Scrum meeting.
Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and tools.
Ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards.
