Candidate must have strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and tools.
Strong knowledge of Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
Must have experience in preparing Test Plan, Test Strategy, and Test Cases covering Functional and UI scenarios.
Strong knowledge and experience of Functional/UI (Desktop and Mobile/MEW), Regression, Sanity, Smoke testing.
Should have experience in definition, implementation, and execution of the functional, regression test cases on highly iterative and collaborative projects.
Execute and analyze manual and automated tests to identify defects, track quality metrics and ensure the quality of software applications.
Strong knowledge of any Databases with capabilities to write SQL Queries.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Experience with test management tools (e.g. JIRA).
Ability to lead and motivate a team of testers.
Good knowledge and experience of Insurance Domain Testing (Added Advantage)
Automation Testing
Must have experience with Selenium, WebDriver, GIT & Core Java.
Good knowledge of database interfaces like Oracle SQL (RDBMS) and DB2.
Automate features/ functionalities in the application with UI automation tools/frameworks.
Automate web applications using Selenium, Java/Ruby, and Cucumber Framework.
Automate Rest/ SOAP services, Excel based client applications.
Good knowledge and experience with Test Automation frameworks like – TestNG, JUnit, POM, Cucumber, SDET and Open-Source Frameworks.
Good knowledge and experience in Web Services and API testing using Rest Assured framework.
Good Knowledge of CI/CD tool – Jenkins and Maven build tool
Job Responsibilities
Designing, developing, and executing high quality test cases.
Work closely with development teams to ensure that test cases are aligned with development goals and timelines.
Drive improvements in testing coverage, develop test suites, and automate end to end tests.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper testing coverage and effective communication of test results.
Coordinating with other teams to ensure timely delivery of quality software products.
Participating in daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, and sprint retrospectives.
Leading a team of testers and be responsible for the quality of their work.
Give direction and leadership to other testers and define strategies to ensure effective and efficient testing.
