As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial and Investment Bank’s Markets Tech Team, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.
Job Responsibilities-
Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts for web, backend and API applications.
Collaborate with cross functional and business teams to understand application requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for automation script, framework and process.
Work with Developers, BA and Product team to identify and address bugs and inconsistencies in software.
Be responsible to handle multiple projects at the same time.
Be proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a dynamic environment.
Participate and contribute in agile ceremonies .

Required Skills-
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts with 3+ years of experience in software testing.
Experience of open-source User Interface (UI) test tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Play wright etc.
Strong understanding of any programming language like Java and Python, Java Script.
Writing test automation scripts using BDD Tools – Cucumber, Spec flow, Gherkin etc.
Experience of API Testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI etc.
Support and evolve CI/ CD Platform for continuous testing.
Experience in performance test execution like JMeter.
Hands on experience on Git/ Gitlab runners/ equivalent.
