We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with strong experience in Manual Testing, API Testing, Web Application Testing, and Test Automation using Playwright. The ideal candidate should have experience validating complex business workflows, backend services, and APIs while ensuring high-quality software releases in an Agile product environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business and functional requirements to prepare comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test plans.
- Execute functional, integration, regression, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end testing for web applications.
- Perform REST API testing and validate backend workflows, request/response payloads, and data flows.
- Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test scripts using Playwright (Python or TypeScript).
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using defect management tools until closure.
- Validate application functionality across different environments and releases.
- Work closely with developers, Product Managers, and stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
- Participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Release Validation in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement and automation initiatives.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Strong hands-on experience in API Testing and RESTful Web Services.
- Experience with Playwright Automation using Python or TypeScript.
- Good understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
- Experience creating and executing regression test suites and test documentation.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Good to Have Skills
- Knowledge of SQL and MongoDB for backend testing and data validation.
- Experience validating XML data structures and integrations.
- Understanding of ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems), Digital Advertising, Programmatic Platforms, or CPC concepts.
- Experience working on Product or SaaS-based applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working in fast-paced Product or SaaS organizations.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Quick learner with a passion for delivering high-quality software.
