We are looking for a QA Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience with strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing and Selenium Automation. The candidate should be capable of independently understanding requirements, designing comprehensive test scenarios, identifying risks, testing complex workflows, and owning features through release validation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
- Perform functional, integration, system, smoke, sanity, regression, and exploratory testing.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium.
- Identify, document, track, and validate defects using TFS/ Azure DevOps.
- Perform impact analysis for new features and bug fixes.
- Test complex end-to-end workflows, hardware/ software integrations, and third-party integrations.
- Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, and QA teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Provide clear updates on testing progress, defects, risks, blockers, and release readiness.
- Independently own assigned features from requirement understanding through testing and release validation.
Required Skills
- 3 to 5 years of relevant Software QA/ Testing experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium Automation.
- Good knowledge of SDLC, STLC, defect life cycle, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Hands-on experience with TFS/ Azure DevOps for defect and work-item management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think beyond predefined test cases.
- Strong scenario-based thinking, including positive, negative, boundary, edge-case, and exploratory scenarios.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate defects, risks, testing status, and technical issues.
- Strong attention to detail and debugging skills.
- Knowledge/ experience in testing hardware devices and hardware-software integrated systems is required.
Good to Have/ Added Advantage
- Experience with Playwright or other modern automation frameworks.
- Basic knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP methods, and Postman.
- Experience with SQL/ database validation.
- Knowledge of Java/ Python/ C# for automation.
- Experience with TestNG or similar testing frameworks.
- Experience testing mobile applications.
- Experience with third-party integrations and connected/ device-based systems.
