We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to test scalable digital solutions across web, mobile, and tablet platforms . You will work with developers and product managers to understand requirements, plan testing, identify issues, and ensure high-quality software delivery.
Job Responsibilities
- Understand how all elements of the system and software ecosystem work together and develop QA approaches that fit the overall strategy.
- Responsible for the development of test strategies and creation of appropriate test harnesses .
- Develop and execute test plans .
- Monitor and report on test execution and quality metrics .
- Review software requirements and identify testing requirements and potential gaps.
- Design and execute test cases based on defined requirements.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure software quality and timely resolution of defects.
Required Skills
- Graduate in any specialization.
- 3-6 years of testing experience, preferably in the e-commerce domain .
- Ability and experience in reviewing requirements and developing test cases based on those requirements.
- Exposure to bug reporting and tracking tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of Linux/ Unix commands .
- Knowledge and understanding of Browser Developer Tools .
- Awareness of CI/ CD processes .
- Familiarity with one or more databases such as Oracle, MongoDB, Cassandra, MySQL, or PostgreSQL .
- Good understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
