We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Quality Engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation, specifically with Playwright and API testing, along with excellent communication and SQL skills. Experience with cloud testing preferably in AWS is a plus.
Required Skills & Experience-
5 to 7 years of total experience in software testing, with a strong emphasis on automation.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Playwright in designing and executing automation scripts.
At least 3 years of experience in API test automation using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or similar.
Strong SQL skills for data validation and back-end testing.
Excellent communication skills able to collaborate effectively across teams.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git, Jenkins)
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
Proactive attitude and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities-
Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable Playwright automation frameworks.
Candidate should be proficient in BDD testing.
Create and execute automated test scripts for RESTful APIs, ensuring full test coverage.
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure high-quality product releases.
Identify, report, and track bugs; perform root cause analysis for complex issues.
Develop test plans, test cases, and test data for functional and regression testing.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior QA engineers.
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and practices.
Utilize SQL to validate backend data and ensure data integrity.
Leverage cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for test execution and infrastructure support (if applicable).
