Candidate should have 2 to 3 years of solid experience in manual testing.
Experience in designing a Test Scenario and Writing Executing Test Cases.
Strong background with Manual testing, Web and client server application testing, Black box testing, STLC concepts, Bug Life Cycle, Regression Testing, Mobile App Testing, Websites (PHP/CMS) Testing, Web Responsive Concepts, Performance/ Load Testing, API Testing (Postman).
Proven experience in QA methodologies.
Experience willingness to work on creating test cases, test scripts execute them.
Experience in bug tracking tools like: Bugzilla, Mantis, JIRA, Trello, Microsoft TFS.
Should have very good communication skills.
Performance Testing Tools: JMeter or any equivalent.
Team Player, ability to multi-task, work independently, and provide excellent follow-through on tasks, and Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Good to Have (Optional):
- Exposure to automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress.
- Basic scripting knowledge (Java, Python, or JavaScript).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD concepts and testing AI tool usages.
- ISTQB or equivalent certification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business and functional requirements to create detailed and comprehensive test cases.
- Perform manual testing across various types, including functional, Regression, Smoke, Integration, and UI/UX testing.
- Log, track, and manage bugs using tools such as Mantis, JIRA, or Trello.
- Collaborate with development teams, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure quality standards.
- Execute cross-browser, cross-platform testing on web/mobile applications.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies like daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Optionally contribute to automation testing efforts (if skilled), including writing basic scripts or assisting in framework maintenance, preferably Selenium Java or Playwright Python.
- Ensure adherence to quality assurance best practices and processes.
