Candidate should have a Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field with 5 to 10 years of experience in quality assurance or software testing. Experience working in Agile environments. Relevant QA certifications are an added advantage.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong experience in ecommerce/ retail domain, specifically storefront validations
- Solid understanding of end-to-end ecommerce flows
- Hands-on experience working in Agile/ Scrum environments
- Experience in test case design, execution, and defect lifecycle management
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA
- Strong analytical and communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end manual testing of ecommerce storefront
- Validate UI/ UX, business logic, and content accuracy across web applications
- Analyze user stories and acceptance criteria to design test cases and scenarios
- Execute test cases within sprint timelines and log defects with proper details and severity
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and contribute to QA estimations
- Perform regression testing to ensure stability of existing functionalities during releases
- Track defects using tools such as JIRA and drive them to closure
- Support production validation and release sign-off activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for quality assurance and issue resolution
