This role demands strong communication skills to engage effectively with business stakeholders, understand requirements, design solutions, and support product development and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) within the Global Funds Control (GFC) application. The candidate will also be responsible for production support and issue resolution, ensuring operational stability.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements related to Fund Accounting and NAV lifecycle processes.
- Design, develop, and implement solutions aligned with business needs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, addressing queries and ensuring successful validation of deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance the GFC application, incorporating new features and workflows.
- Provide production support, promptly addressing and resolving issues to maintain system reliability and performance.
- Manage and resolve production incidents, coordinating with relevant teams to minimize business impact.
- Utilize expertise in Core Java (Advanced), Messaging (MQ), Spring, SpringBoot, Angular, Hazelcast, Oracle, and CI/CD processes to develop and maintain application components.
- Apply Agile methodology principles to manage development cycles, ensuring timely delivery and continuous improvement.
- Document technical specifications, process flows, and support materials to facilitate knowledge sharing and operational continuity.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5 to 10 years of experience in software development.
- Proficient in Core Java (Advanced), Messaging (MQ), Spring, SpringBoot, Angular (latest version), Hazelcast.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle databases and CI/CD pipelines.
- Demonstrated experience working in Agile development environments.
- Proven ability to interact effectively with business stakeholders and translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience in production support and issue resolution in a complex application environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with a formal and professional approach.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
- Experience in funds control within financial services is an added advantage.
