We are looking for Software Test Engineer who is passionate about testing and delivering high impact casino games to our global customers. You will be part of a studio with talented team of Artists, Game Designers, Game Developers and Test engineers.
What You Will Do:
- Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive manual test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional specifications and user stories for iGaming applications.
- Perform testing across various platforms, including web browsers and mobile devices, ensuring consistent user experiences.
- Strong understanding of mobile platforms (iOS, Android) and their respective guidelines and best practices.
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking systems such as Jira.
- Work closely with Game Development team that includes Game Designers, Artists, Software Development Engineers to resolve issues found during execution of SIT test cycles.
- Follow guidelines set by SIT management to plan, execute tests to support business.
- Identify opportunities for software automation, including test cases.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or its equivalent.
- Passion for games testing and understanding player psychology
- Demonstrated ownership of tasks assigned and accurate status reporting
- 4-6 years of extensive experience in Manual Unknown testing.
- Works as a member of the iGaming team that will be involved in testing various game development for a variety of different online and handheld markets.
- Works with the QA Manager and the QA team lead in preparing and performing test plans.
- Designs and completes test cases and conducts product requirements analysis.
- Identifies and resolves issues in the code, providing detailed information to the development team.
- Modifies game code to trigger features as required by testing objectives to achieve the desired test coverage.
- Modifies game code to collect memory metrics, core dumps, etc., using the tools and frameworks provided by Platform and/or game development teams.
- Good experience in HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, and has worked deeply in design and development using the same. One who is passionate about testing highly robust, high-performing applications in time time-constrained environment with a product conforming to strong compliance requirements.
- Understanding of Mobile devices and Web applications is a must
