We are currently seeking a skilled Manual Testing/ Junior Engineer
Candidate must have a strong background in manual testing methodologies, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for ensuring the quality of our software products. As a Manual Testing QA, you will play a crucial role in guiding and overseeing the manual testing efforts within our organization, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor`s/ Master`s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience of 1 to 3 years in Manual testing of compatibility scenarios between platform and guest apps.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, HP ALM, TestRail) and defect tracking systems.
Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
ISTQB or similar software testing certification.
Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and web services (RESTful APIs).
Familiarity with performance testing and security testing principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Planning and Strategy: Develop comprehensive test plans, strategies, and test cases to effectively and efficiently test software applications across various platforms and environments.
Test Execution: Coordinate and oversee the execution of manual test cases, ensuring thorough coverage and adherence to quality standards.
Defect Management: Manage the defect tracking process, including identification, documentation, prioritization, and resolution of issues discovered during testing.
Quality Assurance: Drive continuous improvement of quality assurance processes and methodologies, identifying areas for optimization and implementing best practices.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment on testing objectives and priorities.
Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present test reports and metrics to stakeholders, providing insights into the quality of software releases and making recommendations for improvement.
