We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester (QA Engineer) to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to identify defects, validate requirements, and ensure seamless user experiences across web and mobile applications.
Candidate must have 2 to 4 years of experience in manual testing of web and/or mobile applications.
Strong understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC.
Hands-on experience with functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
Experience in writing clear and detailed test cases and test scenarios.
Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.
Experience working in Agile/ Scrum development environments.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Job Responsibilities-
Analyze business and functional requirements to prepare test scenarios and test cases.
Perform manual testing including functional, regression, smoke, sanity, system, and integration testing.
Execute test cases, identify defects, and track issues using defect management tools.
Validate fixes and perform re-testing to ensure defect resolution.
Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure quality at every stage of the SDLC.
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives in Agile environments.
Perform basic API and database testing to validate backend functionality.
Ensure applications meet quality standards before release.
Contribute to test documentation and quality improvement initiatives.
